If you build it, they will donate! In 1998, for the first time, the BTCEB created a method for people who really want to see the club's Mission and Vision fulfilled to make a huge difference in our effectiveness. The response was overwhelming. New and renewing members had evidently been waiting for us to ask! These elite donors have put the club on a sound financial footing and expanded the scope, effectiveness, and quality of all the club's programs. In many cases these volunteers are also the people who give unstintingly of their time and efforts and are always there for trail work, Youth Bike Adventures, teaching classes, serving on our Board and all the other ways that volunteers bring the club to life.
